Andi, Juci és Dóri 2. iskolai napja Máltán

Elkérkeztünk a tanfolyamunk második napjához, amikor is a helyiek szerint 50 éve nem tapasztalt hőséggel kellett megküzdenünk, ami 42-43 fokot jelent. Természetesen nem hiányozhat a közös kép a suli előtt. 

Dóra ma egész nap folyamán a CLILLSTORE oldalán dolgozott a webquest-en, mely a projekt munkáját adja, amit pénteken prezentálnia kell. 

Lépésről lépésre végigvették a részeit, annak, hogy hogyan kell egy ilyen módszertani feladatot felépíteni. Szabadon lehetett választani ki mivel szeretné kezdeni, Dóri rögtön a feladatokra koncentrált és remélhetőleg péntekre egy olyan projekttel készül el, amiben a közösségi média használata diák szemmel lesz a végcél.

Juditnak a mai napon is 3 különböző témával foglakoztak: 1. learning vocabulary 2. writing strategies 3. project work. Végig kis csoportban dolgoztak, így az instruktor által bemutatott tananyagon kívül ismét sok ötlettel gazdagodtak egymás tanítási gyakorlataiból.

Andi továbbra is a Speciális Nevelési igényű, asperger, autizmus és  Adhd-val élő tanulók valamint a diszlexiás, diszkalkuliás, diszgráfiás, diszpraxiás diákok tanításához  kapott sok sok segítő módszertani ötletet, praktikát. Sok videót néztek meg, mely során sok tanulsággal szolgált a SEN=Special Education Need igényű tanulók észleléséről, az őket érő ingerekről, a bennük lezajlodó folyamatokról, valamint arról, hogy hogyan lehet kialakítani egy inklúzív osztálytermet, olyan környezetet, ahol minden tanuló jól érzi magát.

Az órák után az iskola által szervezett kiránduláson vettünk részt a fővárosba VALETTÁBA. Egy nagyon lelkes és energikus idegenvezetővel, Márióval fedezhettük fel ezt az igazán lenyűgöző várost. Történelmét tekintve nagyon érdekes volt hallani, hogy a város folyamatos védelmi funkciót látott el az évszázadok során Afrika és Európa között, ahogyan a képen is lehet majd látni, a várost körbevevő fal lehetetlenné tette ennek bevételét. (Halkan jegyezném meg, hogy talán Tom Cruise még nem forgatott itt, tőle elképzelhetőnek találnám, hogy csak úgy felfut a fal mentén és beveszi a várost ezután rohanva.)

Érdekes volt látni, hogy mennyi építészeti stílus keveredés jelenik meg, hiszen a barokk, reneszénsz és neoklasszicista stílusok is megjelennek az éplületeken. A kedvencem a zsalugéterek története, amit azért alkalmaztak, mert a máltai asszonyoknak elege volt a kíváncsi szomszédokból, azért nem kis meló lehetett ezt anno takarítani, viszton porszűrőként remekül funkcionáltak.

A 100-150 éves pálmafákat volt megdöbbentő látni, hogy a II. világháború nyomait még mindig viselik magukon, hiszen ahogy a bombák becsapódtak a reteszek sokszor a pálmafákban álltak meg.  

A kedvenc történetem Caravaggiohoz köthető, aki már-már filmbe illő módon jutott el Máltára. Tulajdonképpen szökevényként érkezett meg Máltára, miután Rómában nagy temperamentuma miatt galibába keverdett, így menekülnie kellett. A máltai lovagrend szerette volna ha nekik is dolgozik, ezért menedéket ajánlottak neki a munkájáért cserébe. Amit el is végzett, sőt ami eddig kifejezetten nem volt rá jellemző, alá is írta a művét, méghozzá a saját vérével, amit csak évszázadokkal később egy restaurálás során fedeztek fel. Valamint lovagi sorba is emelték, de sajnos itt is összetűzésbe keveredett egy másik lovaggal, ami után letartóztatták és egy sikeres szökés után visszatért Olaszországba, ahol állítólag természetes halált halt.... vagyis akkoriban így gondolták...annyi szent, hogy nem élt unalmas életet. Ezek után  egy kis szabadidó állt rendelkezésünkre, hogy nézelődjünk, majd fürge idegenvezetőnk a 9:05-ös találkozási időpont után, már 9 óra három perckor megkezdte útját vissza a buszhoz és némi zebránál csoportelhagyás és egy rossz buszra szállás után visszatértünk a szállásunkra, ahol ma az igazak álmát alusszuk majd. (A szállodánk neve DDream hotel. :D)

We arrived at the second day of our course, when, according to the locals, we had to deal with heat which has not been experienced for 50 years, which means 42-43 degrees. Of course, we couldn't miss the picture in front of the school.

Dóra worked all day today on the CLILLSTORE site on the webquest, which gives the project work, which she has to present on Friday.

They went through the parts of how this methodological task should be structured step by step. You could freely choose what you wanted to start with, Dóri immediately concentrated on the tasks and hopefully by Friday, she will be ready with a project in which the use of social media will be the end goal from the student's point of view.

Today, Judit also dealt with 3 different topics: 1. learning vocabulary 2. writing strategies 3. project work. They worked in small groups all the way, so in addition to the curriculum presented by the instructor, they again gained many ideas from each other's teaching practices.

Andi continues to receive many helpful methodological ideas and practices for teaching students with special educational needs, asperger's, autism, and ADHD, as well as students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and dyspraxia. They watched many videos, during which they learned a lot about the perception of students with SEN=Special Education Needs, the processes that take place in them, as well as how to create an inclusive classroom, an environment where all students feel comfortable. 

After the lessons, we took part in a trip organized by the school to the capital, VALETTA. We were able to discover this truly fascinating city with a very enthusiastic and energetic tour guide, Mário. In terms of its history, it was very interesting to hear that the city performed a continuous defense function over the centuries between Africa and Europe, as you can see in the picture, the wall surrounding the city made it impossible to enter. (I would quietly note that maybe Tom Cruise hasn't filmed here yet, I would find it possible for him to just run up the wall and take the city running after that.)

It was interesting to see how many architectural styles are mixed, since the Baroque, Renaissance and Neoclassical styles also appear on the buildings. My favorite is the story of the shutters, which were used because Maltese women had enough of nosy neighbors, so it must have been quite a chore to clean them back then, but they functioned great as a dust filter.

 

It was shocking to see the 100-150-year-old palm trees that they still bear the traces of World War II,, since when the bombs hit, the bolts often stopped in the palm trees.

My favorite story has to do with Caravaggio, who reached Malta in a way almost fitting for a movie. Actually, he arrived in Malta as a fugitive, after getting into trouble in Rome due to his high temper, so he had to flee. The Order of Malta wanted him to work for them as well, so they offered him shelter in exchange for his work. What he did, and what was not particularly characteristic of him until then, he also signed his work, with his own blood, which was only discovered centuries later during a restoration. He was also knighted, but unfortunately he got into a fight again with another knight, after which he was arrested and after a successful escape he returned to Italy, where he supposedly died a natural death... or so they thought at the time... he didn't live a boring life at all. After that, we had some free time to look around, and after the meeting time at 9:05, our nimble guide started his way back to the bus at 9:03 :D and after leaving the group at a zebra crossing and getting on the wrong bus, we returned to our accommodation, where today we will sleep the dream of the righteous. (The name of our hotel is DDream hotel. :D)
