BB- Málta (6.nap) [Benke Balázs]

 Szombat reggel nekiindultunk egy Marxaslokk, Blue Grotto and..... túrának, ami egy az iskola által felkínált, a Máltát megismerő kirándulások egyike. 9:00-ra ismét az Independent Monument-nél a találka és egy kis kisbusz helyett egy rendes nagybusz várt minket. Talán lesz rendes klíma 🙏, de .....tévedtünk (megint). Zúg a klíma, de a nyílásokból a ceglédi gimi wifi-je érkezik csak (azaz ....). És most Sliema-ban felveszünk egy iskolás csoportot😢. Szóval megérkezik a ceglédi Bem 🤯Kezdek izgulni, hogy ez egy rossz álom.... Telt-múlt az idő, de még mindig nem vagyok benne biztos, hogy felébredtem. A busszal elindultunk teljesen más irányba, mint az úticél hogy felvegyük a többi utastársunkat, akik mindenféle checkpoint-nál várakoznak ránk. 1 óra utazás után még mindig nem Marsaxlokk felé megyünk!!! 2x volt, hogy 1 embert vettünk fel, az Isten se tudja milyen városban. 2euróért tömegközlekedéssel kevesebb, mint fél óra alatt ott lennénk. Lehet, hogy tényleg jobb, ha az ember, fogja a Tallinja flexible card-ját és maga nekivág Google Map és Tallinja app társaival a sziget felfedezésének.😏 Azért szép helyeken is elhaladtunk😉

On Saturday morning, we started a trip to Marxaslokk, Blue Grotto and...., which is one of the trips offered by the school to get to know Malta. At 9:00 a.m., we met again at the Independent Monument and instead of a small minibus, a regular big bus was waiting for us. Maybe there will be a good climate 🙏, but.....we were wrong (again). The air conditioner is buzzing, but only the Wi-Fi of the high school in Cegléd comes through the openings (ie...). And now we are hiring a school group in Sliema😢. So the Bem from Cegléd arrives 🤯I'm starting to worry that it's a bad dream... Time has passed, but I'm still not sure I've woken up. We took the bus in a completely different direction than the destination to pick up our other passengers, who were waiting for us at all kinds of checkpoints. After 1 hour of travel we are still not going to Marsaxlokk!!! There were 2 times that we hired 1 person, in God knows what city. For 2 euros, we would be there in less than half an hour by public transport. Maybe it's really better if you take your Tallinja flexible card and start exploring the island yourself with Google Map and Tallinja app companions.😏 We passed by beautiful places too😉

Na alakul a terv 😊 Az első megálló Mosta város temploma. Ha jól sejtem (így látatlanban), ez Szent Pál-ról lesz elnevezve😄. Második tévedésem ma, ez a Mosta Rotunda (Szűzanya Mennybemenetele Bazilika). Gyönyörű és építészetileg különleges.

Here's the plan 😊 The first stop is the church in the city of Mosta. If I guess correctly (so unseen), it will be named after St. Pál😄. My second mistake today, this is the Mosta Rotunda (Basilica of the Assumption). It is beautiful and architecturally special.

Egy gyors megálló Málta legmagasabb pontján (257m!!!) a Dingli Cliffs-nél: 

"Az egyik ilyen látványos tengerparti szikla egyben Málta legmagasabb pontja (257 m), ráadásul a leírásokkal ellentétben nem Gozo szigetén, hanem itt, a Dingli szikláknál élt hét évig Kalüpszó nimfával Odüsszeusz. "

"One of these spectacular coastal rocks is also the highest point in Malta (257 m), moreover, contrary to the descriptions, Odysseus lived for seven years with the nymph Calypso, not on the island of Gozo, but here at the Dingli cliffs."

Megérkeztünk Marsaxlokk-ba, ami egy halászfalu. Gyorsan kerestünk egy kávézót, hogy megmentsük az elménket, de a rendelésünk a máltai a (szokásos indiai) személyzetnek nagy kihívást jelentett. A 2 jegeskávé és egy-egy szelet süti lefagyasztotta őket. Minden étterem nagy számú külföldit dolgoztat, itt is így volt. Egyikük felvette a rendelést, majd a másik kettőnek mutatta, hogy vegyék ki a tortákat a hűtőből és intézzék a rendelést. Na itt kezdődtek a gondok! Kivették mindkettőt és úgy nézegették a pulton, mint kezdő apuka az újszülöttjét, mikor először kellene pelenkát cserélni rajta 😄.

We arrived in Marsaxlokk, which is a fishing village. We quickly looked for a cafe to save our sanity, but the Maltese (usually Indian) staff found our order very challenging. The 2 icecoffees and a slice of cookie each froze them. Every restaurant employs a large number of foreigners, and it was the same here. One of them took the order and then motioned to the other two to take the cakes out of the fridge and take care of the order. This is where the problems started! They took both of them out and looked at them on the counter like a new dad looking at his newborn when he needs to change his diaper for the first time 😄.

After walking around the market, we headed to the next stop, the Blue Grotto (absolutely beautiful place)😳🤩😍

Szerettem volna videót is feltenni erről a csodaszép helyről, de nem tudtam (biztos túl nagy a mérete)

Szóval ez a mai utazás a kezdeti aggodalmaim ellenére nagyon megérte. Az idegenvezetőnk még számomra isérthetően mesélt/mutatta be a helyeket és hagyott szabadidőt is, hogy ne száraz "látnivalóbemutatás" legyen (minél többet jó gyorsan). Szuper volt ez a kirándulás🤩

 

I wanted to post a video of this wonderful place, but I couldn't (it must be too big).

So today's trip, despite my initial concerns, was well worth it. Our tour guide explained/showed the places in a way that I could understand and also allowed free time so that it would not be a dry "sightseeing presentation" (as much as possible, quickly). This trip was great🤩
