Iceland - Megérkezés (HHE)

 A tegnapi nap éjjel, illetve otthoni idő szerint ma hajnalban landoltunk Izlandon. A repülőutat egy bécsi átszállással sikerült megoldani, de minden rendben volt. A reptér nagyjából 40 percre van Reykjavíktól, így taxival érkeztem (érkeztünk) a szállásra. Egy nagyon kedves tősgyökeres izlandi-senegáli sofőrünk volt, aki sokat mesélt útközben. A szállásra jutva csak kipakolni volt energiám és utána gyorsan el is aludtam. 

We landed in Iceland last night and today at dawn (home time). The flight was managed with a stopover in Vienna, but everything was fine. The airport is about 40 minutes away from Reykjavik, so I (we) took a taxi to the hotel. We had a very nice native Icelandic-Senegalese driver who told us a lot of stories on the way. When I got to the hostel I only had the energy to unpack and then quickly fell asleep.

Ma (vasárnap) viszonylag korán keltem és felderítettem (felderítettük) a környéket. Egy gyors bevásárlást követően megcsodáltam a partot, amiről azt hittem a térkép alapján, hogy sokkal messzebb lesz tőlünk, de pozitívan kellett csalódnom. Az idő csodás (az otthoni nagy meleg helyett) itt csak 14 fok van a telefonom szerint, de süt a nap és így sokkal melegebbnek tűnik. Végig gyalog és kerékpáros útvolan van kiépítve a parton, ami rendezett és gyönyörű tiszta. Sajnos a vízhez nem lehet lemenni, mert hatalmas sziklák vannak, de így is mesés a látvány. 

Today (Sunday) I got up relatively early and scouted (scouted) the area. After a quick shopping trip, I admired the beach, which I thought from the map would be much further away from us, but I was positively disappointed. The weather here is lovely (instead of being very hot at home) it's only 14 degrees according to my phone, but the sun is shining and it feels much warmer. There are foot and cycle paths all along the coast which are tidy and beautifully clean. Unfortunately you can't get down to the water because there are huge rocks, but it's still a fabulous view.

                 

Ma délután még volt egy közös eligazítás a tanfolyammal kapcsolatban a résztvevőknek a Center Hotel Plaza-ban. A program szervezője tartott előadást a PSM Erasmus + csoportról, tanfolyamaikról, az ott dolgozó tanárokról és a jelenleg futó programokról. kiderült, hogy Izlandon kívül Spanyolországban, Írországban, Máltán, Tenerifén és Tahitin is tartanak tanfolyamokat (Tahitin mondjuk csak jövőre indul a képzés). :)

Az Ő előadása után egy fiatal izlandi tanár tartott képes előadást Izlandról. Megismerkedhettünk az ország történelmével, nevezetességeivel, tradicionális ételeivel. Megtudhattuk, hogy több, mit 10 000 vízesés, 362 vulkán és közel 370.000 ember él Izlandon (birkából is körülbelül ennyi van itt). 

Végezetül egy 1 órásnak mondott, ámde 2 órásra nyúlt idegenvezetéssel jártuk körbe a várost és ismerkedtünk a helyi nevezetességekkel. Ezekről mutatnék is pár képet...

A nap végére 11,6 km került a lábamba, így azt hiszem jöhet a jól megérdemelt pihenés. :)

This afternoon there was a joint briefing on the course for participants at the Center Hotel Plaza. The organiser of the programme gave a presentation about the PSM Erasmus+ group, their courses, the teachers working there and the current programmes.It turned out that apart from Iceland, they also run courses in Spain, Ireland, Malta, Tenerife and Tahiti (Tahiti will not start until next year). :)

After his presentation, a young Icelandic teacher gave a photo presentation about Iceland. We were able to learn about the history, sights and traditional food of the country. We learned that there are more than 10 000 waterfalls, 362 volcanoes and nearly 370.000 people living in Iceland (about the same number of sheep). 

Finally, we took a guided tour of the city for about 1 hour, but which lasted 2 hours, to see the local sights. I'll show you some pictures...

At the end of the day I had 11,6 km in my legs, so I guess I can take a well deserved rest. :)
